Lourans Mikhail, a Marine veteran based in Chattanooga Tennessee is a muralist, sculptor, painter, and graphic designer. His art confronts concepts within society, culture, and race through a contemporary and historical lens that forces the viewer to experience different narratives. Lourans Mikhail graduated from The Art Institute of California, San Diego with a major in graphic design. He has shown in multiple galleries across San Diego, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Chattanooga. His public art can be seen in San Diego, Anaheim, Memphis, New Orleans, and Chattanooga. Publications include Memphis Voyager, The Chatter, and Pulse Magazine. Recently he completed a month-long international artist in residence in France at Chateau Orquevaux.
